Columbia University climate scientists Peter de Menocal, director of the Center for Climate and Life, Radley Horton, and Kate Marvel discuss climate science and solutions.

Columbia University has the largest group of climate scientists, as well as world-class experts in legal, health, architectural, business, and social science fields, who partner with these scientists on climate-related issues and research.

A few of these experts spoke with alumni at the annual Columbia Alumni Leaders Weekend in October.

Speakers included oceanographer and paleoclimatologist Peter de Menocal, the Dean of Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science and Director of the Center for Climate and Life, and Radley Horton and Kate Marvel, associate research scientists at Columbia. The clinic was hosted by University Trustee A’Lelia Bundles.
